A Holiday giveaway...

Ok, nice people who read my blog, this here's for you. I got the idea for a giveaway because several other cooking blogs are doing it, and I came across a good deal. Are you excited?? You could win something. Unlike those other cooking blogs that everybody knows about and comments on, you have a much better chance here at little ole' iCook.

I am giving away 2 1-year subscriptions to this magazine, Cuisine at Home.

I truly enjoy this magazine. My dad got a subscription for me last year, and I have gotten something out of each and every issue. The first part of the magazine is tips that people send in. Then, they share several recipes and go through the process with lots of pictures and explanations. They also rate different kitchen equipment and tell you what's best. It's great and I know you will enjoy it. There are 6 issues for a year's subscription.

The great part is, you can keep this for yourself, OR you can get it sent to a family member or friend and - VOILAH! One Christmas present taken care of... only umpteen more to go.

Here's what you need to do:
- Leave a comment about something you would like to see on iCook, or something you've enjoyed seeing on iCook.
- If you have made something from this blog, rate and tell us about it and you will receive an extra entry.
- Post about this giveaway on your blog, including a link to this site, and you will receive an extra entry.
SO, you could get your name in the hat 3 times, if you'd like. I will randomly draw 2 names on Sunday, November 23, and post the results Monday morning.
Good Luck and thanks for reading!!

Okay, so I am a serious fan of this site. You are doing a great job. My favorite part of the blog is that you put your meal plan with pictures and recipes. Very nice. I have not made anything from this blog yet but only because one of my children is very allergic to eggs, chicken, and soy products. Your fried rice had me depressed for days!
I'd like to see more info about grocery planning and shopping. I always enjoy articles about making the most of leftovers and I would love to write a guest post sometime.

Hi! My name is Cam. I found your blog through Jennifer R who posted about it on her blog. I've really been enjoying the blog and especially appreciate the realness of it--it seems so accessible that it has inspired me to kick my cooking up a notch. I also plan out my menus a week at a time, so it has been interesting to watch you do that, too. The pictures really help a LOT with understanding the directions and knowing what to expect. In general, I really like that most of the food falls into the dinner entree category (versus others), but as the holidays approach, I would love to see a few dessert/appetizer/sides pop up. Thanks and keep up the good work!

Hey friend! Great idea about the giveaway! So I have made a few things, but the one I remember is the pumpkin seeds (didn't turn out too great, but oh well). I gave a plug for your blog a few weeks ago but will do it again!!

I just love this blog! My favorite things are the weekly menu. I'm working on cooking at least a couple nights a week so it is amazing for me to see what you cook for your family EVERY night. I also love all the tips. I'm pretty new at cooking so I need all the help I can get :)

Ooooh! Pick me! :0) I have checked your blog out a couple of times from Jennifer R's. I love getting ideas that are different from what I usually make but aren't weird or difficult- great job! I see you also like a year of crockpotting, you should also check out cookiemadness.net.
